What this is
The Conviction Play (theconvictionplay.com) publishes general commentary and analysis about individual public companies, for information only. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer or invitation to buy or sell any security. It is not a prediction. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
No advice, no relationship
Reading this site does not create an advisory, fiduciary, or client relationship of any kind. The author writes about companies he may personally hold, and discloses positions where relevant, but that disclosure is not a recommendation to hold the same position. Capital is at risk and the value of investments can fall as well as rise. Anyone acting on their own investment decisions should consider taking advice from an appropriately authorised financial adviser.
Accuracy
Content is prepared in good faith from sources believed reliable at the time of writing, including company filings and third-party market data (see "Third-party data" below), but is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Company facts, figures and prices can change after publication and are not updated retroactively except where explicitly noted.
Third-party data and links
Company profile pages display data sourced from Yahoo Finance and are labelled as such. Coverage-map geography is drawn from Natural Earth (public domain). This site links to Substack (where articles are published and subscriptions are managed) and, from time to time, to companies' own websites. The Conviction Play does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party site it links to or sources data from.
Intellectual property
The written analysis, branding, and graphics on this site are the property of The Conviction Play unless otherwise credited. You may share links to this site freely. Reproducing substantial parts of the written content elsewhere requires permission — get in touch via the Substack page linked from the homepage.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Conviction Play accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its content, including investment losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
